Child Predator Arrested

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Upon forensic analysis of Gonzalez’s electronic devices that were seized during the residential search warrant, Constable Ryan Gable’s Detectives found that Gonzalez was in possession of over two hundred videos of toddlers depicting Child Sexual Assault Material. The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted five (5) additional charges of possession of child pornography against Gonzalez.

David Gonzalez was arrested on June 25, 2024 and booked into the Montgomery County Jail. His bond has been set at 375,000.00 dollars for the five additional charges.


ORIGINAL PRESS RELEASE
On April 11, 2024, Constable Ryan Gable’s Detectives initiated a proactive investigation into a male suspect who was accused of having sexual relations with a juvenile in exchange for money. Detectives learned that the suspect was meeting with the juvenile victim at a neighborhood park in The Woodlands to engage in sexual acts in exchange for money on multiple occasions. Detectives posed as the victim online, where the suspect made arrangements with the undercover Detectives to meet at a location. The suspect also attempted to solicit sexual acts with additional juveniles and the undercover Detective. Detectives were able to identify this suspect as David Roberto Gonzalez. A Search warrant was obtained for Gonzalez’s residence, where he was taken into custody without incident. It was also discovered that Gonzalez was in possession of Child Sexual Assault Material on his electronic devices. Gonzalez was charged with Sexual Assault of a Child and booked into the Montgomery County Jail. His bond has been set at $150,000.00 dollars. Additional charges for Possession of Child Pornography are pending against Gonzalez.

As a result of this investigation, Detectives believe that Gonzalez encountered additional juvenile victims that have not been identified.
