Celebrate Batman's Birthday at The Pavilion July 26

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Experience the caped crusader like never before at Batman 1989 in Concert featuring the Houston Symphony Friday, July 26, 2024, at 8 p.m. Watch Batman unravel the mysteries of Gotham City as the Houston Symphony Orchestra performs the movie’s Grammy-nominated original score by Danny Elfman live on the Main Stage. Tickets are not required for this completely free event and gates open at 7 p.m. with a plethora of pre-show activities.

TCG Entertainment, a leader in live entertainment and touring productions, in conjunction with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment and DC, is bringing Warner Bros. Pictures’ 1989 blockbuster film Batman to The Pavilion as part of its DC in Concert series. Released June 23, 1989, Warner Bros. Pictures’ DC Superhero film Batman was the top grossing film that year and has remained a fan-favorite for more than three decades. The film was composer Danny Elfman’s first collaboration with director Tim Burton and the score was later nominated for a Grammy award. The “Batman Theme” has become an iconic piece, evoking the Caped Crusader for many generations. Guests can expect a super heroic symphony and are encouraged to dress up as their favorite DC Superhero.

Pre-show activities will begin at 7 p.m. and include photo opportunities, an arts & crafts booth, themed games, the instrument petting zoo and sponsor activations.

Guests are welcome to bring a picnic from home or their favorite restaurant to enjoy in their seat or on the hill. Keep in mind that beverages cannot be brought into The Pavilion and picnics must also comply with The Pavilion’s bag size restriction and/or be in original packaging.

Families are encouraged to enhance their performing arts experience with Mini Pavilion Maestros, a free and exciting program that makes the arts both fun and accessible for kids of all ages. By signing up for Mini Pavilion Maestros, children will receive: a special membership lanyard and badge, free reserved seating at all performing arts events, early entry for select shows, a free ticket to Children’s Festival and other great perks throughout the season.
