THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Today, along with two of her colleagues, Linda Nelson filed to run for re-election as a member of the Board of Directors for The Woodlands Township in the November election.

Linda Nelson campaigned on several promises including exploring a Homestead Exemption and bringing her strong community relationships to the table, and she has delivered. With all eligible homeowners now receiving a Homestead Exemption, the reforestation budget increasing substantially, enhanced public safety, the recreational facilities (pickleball!) expanding, and the passage of HB 5311 by the Texas Legislature giving the Woodlands Township access to the collected Mixed Beverage Taxes that were previously being sent to the State capitol -Linda has come through for residents.

“I have enjoyed serving my community,” said Linda. “And I look forward to continuing to preserve our home and protect our future.”

Joining Linda in her re-election announcement were fellow Directors, Brad Bailey and Richard Franks. Additionally, Craig Eissler filed to run with the incumbents.
