TxDOT announces in-house and virtual public meetings for I-45 North improvement project

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) invites you to attend one of the in-person or virtual public meetings scheduled for Thursday, September 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. CDT.

Both options available Sept. 19 at 5 p.m.

TxDOT is engaging the public on the I-45 North Houston Highway Improvement Project (NHHIP). The project limits are I-45 from US 59/I-69 to Beltway 8 North, including improvements on US 59/I-69 between I-45 and Spur 527 in Harris County, Texas.

Both versions of the meeting are free to attend and open to the public. The in-person session will take place at Young Women’s College Preparatory Academy (YWCPA) Gymnasium, 1906 Cleburne St. in Houston. The virtual public meeting will consist of a pre-recorded video presentation and will include both audio and visual components. Any environmental documentation or studies, maps, and drawings showing the project location and design, tentative construction schedules, and other information regarding the project are on file and available for review Monday through Friday by appointment between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the TxDOT Houston District Office, 7600 Washington Avenue in Houston. The public meeting will be conducted in English with Spanish interpreters available. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English or Spanish is not your primary language or have difficulty communicating effectively in English or Spanish, one will be provided to you free-of-charge.
