Ace Pickleball Club – Magnolia is a new venture by a pair of father-son duos, Mookie and Jim McDevitt, and Brad and Ed Blakey. The group is excited to bring all-inclusive membership indoor pickleball to the Lone Star State, starting in the greater Houston area. In his role as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for the brand, Mookie inspired his father, Jim, to pick up a paddle. And both Jim and Ed, longtime finance industry veterans, were eager to embark on a new business venture together after retirement. Recognizing the growing popularity of pickleball, they enlisted their sons, Mookie and Brad, who share a passion for the sport, to open their first location.

Jim, a Houston resident, identified the region as a great market for Ace Pickleball Club, and in particular zeroed in on The Woodlands and Magnolia as an ideal place to start. This team envisions opening up several more locations together, offering the families a new challenge and opportunity.
