Re: Letter of Interest for Montgomery County Stakeholder Non-Voting Advisory Subcommittee – GMA14

To stakeholders in Montgomery County, The purpose of this letter is to identify stakeholders in Montgomery County who are interested in being appointed to nonvoting advisory subcommittee(s) as part of the joint planning process for Groundwater Management Area (GMA)14. Pursuant to Tex. Water Code §36.1081(b), the groundwater district representatives in GMA 14 may appoint stakeholders to nonvoting advisory subcommittees who represent social, governmental, environmental, or economic interests to assist with the development of the desired future conditions.

If you are interested in being appointed to a nonvoting advisory subcommittee, please submit a formal letter of interest to info@lonestargcd.org explaining why you are interested and how you would represent social, governmental, environmental, or economic interests. In your transmittal email, please use “Letter of Interest” in the subject line and submit by 11/8/2024 to be considered.

The General Manager will submit all letters of interest to the Lone Star GCD Board of Directors. Please reach out to the District with any additional questions.
