Faith “Fighting Cancer” Brings the Magic of Christmas to Families Battling Cancer

CONROE, TX -- This December, Faith “Fighting Cancer,” a dedicated nonprofit serving
Montgomery County, invites the community to join in spreading love and hope to families
enduring the harsh realities of cancer. On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the Hyatt
Regency Conroe, the organization will host a heartwarming Christmas celebration aimed
at bringing the joy and magic of the season to children and families facing cancer.

Our Mission:
Faith “Fighting Cancer” was founded on the belief that no family should face cancer alone. The nonprofit provides emotional and financial support to cancer patients and their families across Montgomery County and surrounding areas. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens families face by offering assistance through the generosity of local businesses, individuals, and fundraising volunteers. Each year, our Christmas project provides gifts and holiday cheer to families, making sure they feel supported and cared for during the holiday season. Through fundraising efforts like this event, we aim to bring joy and hope to those facing challenging times.

“The holidays can be an especially difficult time for families going through cancer
treatment,” said the event organizers. “We want to create a space where these families
can feel joy, support, and love—a time to forget about the stress and focus on the magic of
the season.”

The December event will feature inspirational guest speakers, Christmas-themed
activities, and stories of resilience that remind us all of the power of community support.
Special musical performances will include the Madrigal Singers from Montgomery High
School, creating a beautiful and uplifting atmosphere for all attendees. Doors open at 1:30
PM, and the program will commence at 2:00 PM.
