Sheriff Wesley Doolittle-Montgomery County Strong: Honoring Our Past, Building Our Future

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- Yesterday, we witnessed a truly historic moment in Montgomery County’s 188-year legacy as we proudly celebrated the first-ever swearing-in of every employee in the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office under the distinguished leadership of our 42nd Sheriff, Wesley Doolittle.

With standing room only, the event was filled with smiles, excitement, and a proud display of Montgomery County tradition including plenty of cowboy hats! Under the theme “Tradition Meets Tomorrow in Montgomery County,” this momentous gathering brought together past and present as we honored the wisdom of our history and looked ahead to the promise of the future.

Former employees, retirees, and memorabilia from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office’s rich history were on display, reminding us of the incredible journey that has shaped our agency into what it is today. Sheriff Doolittle emphasized his unwavering commitment to honor and recognize the hardworking men and women who go above and beyond daily to protect and serve every resident of Montgomery County.

Together, as a unified law enforcement family, we are building on a proud legacy of service, teamwork, accountability, and respect, ensuring our mission aligns with the values of this great county.
