Enrique Perez Joins The Woodlands® Resort as Executive Chef

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Resort^® has recently welcomed Enrique Perez as executive chef.

Chef Enrique Perez’s remarkable culinary career spans more than two decades with multi-outlet resorts and convention properties across the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. He has enjoyed the prestigious honor of cooking for dignitaries such as President George W. Bush and the King and Queen of Spain, as well as several famous celebrities and notable athletes.

Before joining The Woodlands Resort, Chef Enrique Perez served as executive chef at Moody Center in Austin, Hyatt Regency Houston, and Hyatt Regency San Antonio. He received his education at Instituto Gastronomico Gordon in Mexico City, Mexico, his place of birth. He proudly achieved his first role as executive chef at the young age of 29 years old.

I love bold flavors and playing with colors and different textures. I’m dedicated to developing a team that fuels creativity and innovation. Dining offerings at The Woodlands Resort include: Back Table Kitchen & Bar with Southern-inspired cuisine and locally sourced ingredients, a private dining room, and availability for partial or full buyouts; Harrison’s, a lakeside restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining for breakfast and brunch as well as private event buyouts; Cool Water Bar & Grill for seasonal casual dining at Forest Oasis Waterpark that features a Lazy River; and Spruce Market & Boutique that serves gourmet barista-style coffees, teas, fresh quick bite items, and local artisan retail items.
