Montgomery & San Jacinto Counties, TX –UPDATE: Updated map as of 10:50 am. The acreage has just updated to approximately 2350 acres.
No new evacuations have been issued but residents near the fire should remain vigilant.

Overnight, fire crews made significant progress in protecting structures threatened by the Pauline Fire. Thanks to their tireless efforts, no structures have sustained damage as of this report.

The fire has now grown to 2,000 acres, with containment at 10%. As daylight breaks, additional resources—including air tankers, dozers, and more firefighters—will be deployed to combat the blaze and increase containment.

Mandatory evacuations remain in effect for Montgomery and San Jacinto Counties as fire conditions continue to pose a threat to residents.

Challenging Weather Conditions Ahead
Firefighters will face difficult conditions today, as strong winds, low humidity, and rising temperatures are expected to intensify fire activity. A Red Flag Warning is in place, signaling high fire danger.
