Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Suspect in $60K Elderly Scam
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying the above-pictured suspect. On multiple days in March, this individual scammed an elderly man out of more than $60,000 by posing as a U.S. Treasury agent.
The suspect contacted the victim via phone and mail, then visited the man's home to collect cash on multiple days in March. Witnesses report that the suspect drove away in a black SUV.
