It’s a weird-weather week that will start off dry in the 80s and end wet in the 60s. We can grumble, or we can celebrate the wondrous diversity of weather-related shenanigans in our fair Township, and along with them the same amount of different events you can attend. Here’s a list of some extra-fun things to do this week.
Monday, March 31
It’s Day 1 of Purse Bingo at Sawyer Park Ice House. Join them for a fun-filled evening of Purse Bingo benefiting Child Advocates of Montgomery County. Doors open at 4:00 p.m., games start at 6:00 p.m. This event is for ages 21+ only. Extra Add-on Packs & Blackout Cards will be available for purchase at the event. This is the first night of a two-night event for a worthy cause!

Tuesday, April 1
It’s Day 2 of Purse Bingo at Sawyer Park Ice House. Join them for a fun-filled evening of Purse Bingo benefiting Child Advocates of Montgomery County. Thursday, April 3
The 11th Annual Women Empowering Women event, presented by Waste Connections and benefiting Interfaith Community Clinic features a luncheon and shopping experience set against the stunning backdrop of The Peach Orchard. Doors will open for guests at 10:30 a.m. to shop for a cause at the Philanthropy Market, which offers a curated shopping experience with some of the best and most unique shops, both locally and from around the state. Guests will pause from shopping to enjoy a fabulous lunch provided by Amerigo’s Grille, learn about the amazing work of the Interfaith Community Clinic, honor inspirational women in healthcare, and hear patients’ stories. The Philanthropy Market will reopen after the luncheon with a special “Tini-Time” Happy Hour at 2:00 p.m., and will remain open until 5:00 p.m. for guests to continue shopping, complete purchases and pick up any items that were being held for them during the luncheon.

It’s a battle of two European nations! No shots will be fired, but glasses will be filled at this ‘France vs. Italy Bubbles Night Wine Tasting’ at The Classy Cork Wine Room. Mark your calendar and join them as they welcome two of their wine reps to showcase some of their best sparkling wines in a matchup. Enjoy a tasting of eight sparkling wines plus lite bites starting at 6:30 p.m. $55 per person (tax & tip not included)

Discover the art of candle-making at Two Tones Dueling Piano Bar. Come for a 3C Scents candle-making class and stay for a dueling piano show! For ages 21 and up only. Check-in starts 5:45 p.m. and the workshop starts at 6 o’clock. After the class, feel free to stay and enjoy the show with no cover charge! Your ticket includes two delicious drinks – mocktails are provided for non-alcoholic drinkers.

Looking for a well-deserved break while your kids have an unforgettable evening of fun? Woodlands Sportsplex has you covered with Parents Night Out tonight from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Designed for children ages 5-12, this exciting event offers a safe and engaging environment where kids can enjoy a variety of activities while parents take time to relax. The cost is $25 per child, making it an affordable way to give both kids and parents a night to remember. A fun-filled evening packed with games, activities, and entertainment, with a pizza dinner for all participants.

Learning Express of The Woodlands is excited to announce its upcoming ‘Kid-preneur’ Pop-Up Shop today from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This quarterly event provides young entrepreneurs with the opportunity to showcase and sell their handcrafted creations in a real-world retail setting. Local kids will set up shop and present a variety of unique, handmade products, including toys, jewelry, arts & crafts, dog treats, sports cards, slime, and more. Each participant will receive three feet of table space to display their items.

Join The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce today at Town Green Park for a FREE health, wellness and fitness expo. The ‘Wild About Health’ event is open to the public. Bring your family, friends, or workout buddy. Visit health and fitness vendors, get free health screenings, or join in on our kid-friendly activities. The event will take place rain or shine. This free community expo showcases Chamber members who provide health care, wellness and fitness-related services.

Activate hyperdrive and chart a course for the first free show of 2025: Boston Pops at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion! Join Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops on an intergalactic musical adventure, where the legendary sounds of Star Wars come to life. Instead of spending over 20 hours watching all nine episodes, relive the entire saga in just two, as a live narrator and America’s Orchestra guide you through this epic journey. Let the iconic music awaken the Force within you and transport you to a galaxy far, far away! The Boston Pops' presentation of Star Wars: The Story in Music will now begin at 7:00 p.m. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with pre-show activities available in the plaza. This is a FREE show.
