Tour Lone Star College at annual Open House

HOUSTON, TX -- The Lone Star College Open House shows how world-class educational programs, facilities, technology and resources can change your life, leading to brighter academic and career opportunities. The spring 2025 event will take place April 8 from 4-7 p.m. at all eight LSC campuses.

“Lone Star College combines affordable tuition, strong transfer pathways, high-quality workforce training and flexible schedules to help students move forward—whether they’re starting college, returning or changing direction,” said Gerald F. Napoles, Ph.D., vice chancellor for Student Success. “The Open House is a great way to explore what’s possible and take that first step toward your goals.”

At Open House, attendees can tour LSC campuses, speak with representatives to discuss their educational needs, learn about college resources and financial aid options and start the enrollment process. In spring 2024, Lone Star College launched its Full-Year Academic Schedule for students to view a full year of courses. Starting April 14, students can now register for a full year of classes for fall 2025, spring 2026 and summer 2026. This resource will help students get the classes they need, stay on target and finish on time.

“Lone Star College’s Full-Year Academic Schedule allows students to see their full pathway to completion, giving them a better idea of their progress and what they need to achieve their goals,” said Christina Hagerty, Ed.D., LSC interim chief academic officer. “By planning and registering for courses a full year ahead, students save time and money.”

Lone Star College offers a variety of workforce, academic, transfer, continuing education, baccalaureate programs and robust student life activities close to home to assist everyone interested in furthering their education.
