UPDATE: MCTXSheriff Investigates Shooting on Angus Court in Cleveland, TX

CLEVELAND, TX -- Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators, in collaboration with Gang Investigations Detectives, continued their investigation into the shooting incident and homicide that occurred last week. Their thorough and relentless efforts culminated in the execution of a search warrant, with the assistance of the MCSO Homeland Security Command and SWAT, at a residential property early this morning.
During this operation, two suspects were apprehended in connection with the shooting. The suspects include 19-year-old Alfredo Alfaro and a 16-year-old juvenile male, both of whom are now in custody. The investigation continues as detectives work to uncover further details and gather additional evidence related to the case.

On April 4, 2025, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting in the 4000 block of Angus Court, Cleveland, Texas. Deputies discovered a 19-year-old male and a 19-year-old female had been shot at that location. The female victim was transported to a local hospital, and the male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit, Crime Scene Investigators, and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office are currently on-scene conducting their investigation.
This is an active situation, and detectives are currently interviewing witnesses to gather the facts surrounding this incident. Suspect information is unknown at this time.
