WEATHER UPDATE - Don't call the Coast Guard quite yet

Well, we may have dodged the metaphorical weather bullet. Overnight, the impending storm seemingly shifted course and abated, and it looks like The Woodlands area might be spared the wrath of pounding rains and rising flood waters.
This isn't to say we're totally out of the woods. Chances are, the significant cloud coverage that will steadily rise throughout the day will dump some showers on us this evening, and as we move into Wednesday we'll still have a very full day of rain storms that will drop about a half-inch on us. Come Thursday, though, clouds and rain alike should abate to manageable levels, and on Friday we may get some afternoon showers.
Long story short: if you live in The Woodlands, cancel your overnight delivery of sandbags... we don't think you'll need them this week.
