Join us at the Young Makers Market!

A FREE event where you can shop handmade art from 50 local young artists in grades 3rd - 12th.

Fulfilling our mission to educate our community, we provided the young artists accepted to the YMM with an opportunity to learn some essential business skills to enhance their first-time experience selling their artwork. Special thanks to CISD for donating the beautiful Jett Center for this fantastic event.

Workshops conducted by local professionals taught the young artists about marketing, sales strategies, leadership, and finance. The workshops were designed to empower these young creatives with the skills they needed to thrive as artists and entrepreneurs!

The Woodlands Arts Council (TWAC) Microgrant programs enable & support artistic projects within the Montgomery County community with over $100,000 in impact since 2021.

For the second year, The Woodlands Arts Council Because Art Matters (BAM) Committee is excited to announce a partnership with The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. This community partnership brings additional funding earmarked specifically for performing arts projects and applicants.

Art Matters Series II

Join us for our second Art Matters Series presented in conjunction with our "Collected Recollections" exhibition!

This series will feature an artist talk and "Exploring the Essence of Drawing" Workshop, facilitated by Jayla Ash Davis.

7th & 8th grade students from Montgomery County are invited to participate! Students are given drawing materials and have 50 minutes to complete a still life as they work against the clock!

Space is limited to 40 participants and preregistration is required.

We are excited to produce the inaugural Texas Fine Craft Show on November 1, 2 & 3 at The Westin Hotel in The Woodlands. This boutique shopping experience will feature the work of over 40 world-class fine craft artists from across the nation.

Friday, November 1st, the opening event, Cheers! A Premiere Evening will allow art enthusiasts to be the first to purchase artwork and enjoy a night of entertainment, including passed bubbles, hor d’oeuvres, and more. Cheers! Tickets give access to the show all weekend. A limited number of tickets are available.
