Attention, Woodlands residents and visitors: a section of The Woodlands Waterway will temporarily close to pedestrian traffic later this week. The closure is necessary for the installation of a new pedestrian bridge, enhancing connectivity and accessibility in the area.

Closure Details

From Wednesday, January 29th, through Sunday, February 2nd, the Waterway will be closed between the South Regional Library and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on both the north and south sides.

To ensure public safety, alternative routes will be in place during this time. Pedestrians are encouraged to use the walkway by Riva Row Boathouse as a convenient detour around the affected area. Signage will be posted to guide you along the detour.
