Joe McDermott at The Woodlands Children’s Museum
This one’s for the kids! Texas Commission on the Arts celebrated children’s singer/songwriter Joe McDermott will be performing engaging 30-minute shows at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. Included in the price of admission, which is $9 for adults and children 1 year and older. Lauded as a ‘Texas treasure’ by the State Library Association, McDermott has been captivating young audiences for over three decades, ever since the release of his debut children’s album in 1988. His background as a Montessori teacher provides him with a unique insight into the minds of children, which he masterfully leverages in his performances.

The Harris County at Concert in the Park
Concert in the Park is a popular family tradition of music and fun for all ages! Tonight, The Joan Hearts take the stage. Concerts are FREE to attend! Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited. All entertainment is subject to change. Township staff will be on hand to pass out goodies.

'Sawyer Shenanigans' at Sawyer Park Icehouse

Get ready for an electrifying afternoon of rock nostalgia starting at 3 p.m. with 'Sawyer Shenanigans,' featuring three dynamic tribute bands: Beautiful Disasters – A Tribute to 311, Dude Ranch – A Tribute to Blink-182, and Green Daze – A Tribute to Green Day. Beautiful Disasters will kick off the event, delivering the distinctive fusion of rock, reggae, and funk that defines 311's sound. Following them, Dude Ranch will capture the energetic and irreverent spirit of Blink-182, performing hits that defined the late '90s pop-punk scene. Closing the lineup, Green Daze will pay homage to Green Day, bringing the band's punk rock anthems to life. Admission to this event is free, making it an excellent opportunity for fans to enjoy live performances without any cover charge.
