The 11th Annual Women Empowering Women event, presented by Waste Connections, will be held on Thursday, April 3, benefiting Interfaith Community Clinic. This annual event will feature a luncheon and shopping experience set against the stunning backdrop of The Peach Orchard, and will be co-chaired by Dr. Adrienne Blessing and Dr. Emily Liska.
Doors will open for guests on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 10:30 AM to shop for a cause at the Philanthropy Market, which offers a curated shopping experience with some of the best and most unique shops, both locally and from around the state. Guests will pause from shopping to enjoy a fabulous lunch provided by Amerigo’s Grille, learn about the amazing work of the Interfaith Community Clinic, honor inspirational women in healthcare, and hear patients’ stories. The Philanthropy Market will reopen after the luncheon with a special “Tini-Time” Happy Hour at 2:00 PM, and will remain open until 5:00 PM for guests to continue shopping, complete purchases and pick up any items that were being held for them during the luncheon. Tickets and sponsorships can be purchased here.
Philanthropy Market shopping only tickets, without attending the luncheon, are also available for the public to purchase for just $20. This ticket allows anyone to shop The Market from 1:00 PM until doors close at 5:00 PM. Shopping tickets can be purchased in advance online here Women Empowering Women Event Tickets or at the door upon arrival on April 3. Vendors will be donating 15% of their proceeds back to the Community Clinic.
“Our Charity Clinic focuses on building a healthier community by serving the needs of our uninsured neighbors, who otherwise would not have access to quality healthcare. We thank all of our Women Empowering Women sponsors and supporters who allow us to heal our neighbors and to Dr. Adrienne Blessing and Dr. Emily Liska for their vision and creativity,” shared Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith Community Clinic.
Proceeds from the Women Empowering Women Luncheon benefit Interfaith Community Clinic, the only charity clinic serving all of Montgomery County. The Community Clinic opened its doors in 1996 to meet the medical needs of the uninsured population. As the needs of the community have grown, so have the services offered at the clinic. Today, the clinic continues to provide quality basic medical and dental care, counseling and patient services to individuals in need. A volunteer staff of licensed physicians, nurses, medical providers, dentists, dental assistants, dental hygienists, as well as translators and support personnel work together to provide patient care. Programs are provided free of charge and are funded by the generous financial support of grants, faith-based organizations, businesses, civic groups, and individuals.
