About the Ballet
Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale, The Snow Queen is a heartwarming story of friendship and love. When the powerful Snow Queen and her mischievous imps shatter a magic mirror, shards of evil ice scatter across the world. Best friends Gerta and Kai have grown up together in their peaceful village, but when a shard lodges in Kai’s eye, he falls under the Snow Queen’s spell and is whisked away to her icy kingdom. Determined to save her friend, Gerta embarks on a perilous journey to bring him home.
