Wookiee Wilderness Adventure at Lake Creek Academy: A Week of Survival Skills and Outdoor Fun

From July 7–11, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day, campers will dive into nature and learn essential survival skills while engaging in fun outdoor activities and adventures. A Week of Wilderness and Adventure

Throughout the week, campers will be immersed in nature, participating in a variety of hands-on survival activities, outdoor games, and challenges. They’ll learn skills like building shelters, creating fire (safely, of course!), navigating the great outdoors, and working together as a team—just like Chewbacca and Han Solo! The camp will focus on teamwork, resilience, and developing a love for the outdoors, all while having loads of fun.

Each day promises new outdoor adventures, allowing campers to bond with peers, explore the natural world, and take on challenges that build character and confidence. Whether they’re practicing their best Wookiee roar or tackling survival games, your child will leave the week with unforgettable memories.

Before your child sets off on this outdoor adventure, here are a few key things to keep in mind:

  • Cost: $250 for the entire week (July 7-11).
  • Age Group: Open to children ages 5 and up.
  • Time: Camp runs daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, but drop-off begins at 8:30 AM for early arrivals.
  • What to Bring:
    • A refillable water bottle to stay hydrated during all the outdoor fun.
    • Spare clothing in case of messy adventures or outdoor explorations.
    • A packed lunch each day to fuel their outdoor adventures.
    • Sunscreen and bug spray should be applied before drop-off to keep your child protected throughout the day.
