Job Description

The Turek Law Firm, PC is a firm located in The Woodlands, Texas that focuses on healthcare revenue recovery and litigation for hospitals and healthcare providers, employment litigation, and transactional legal services. The firm is looking for a positive and hard-working administrative assistant that meets the following requirements and can fulfill the following responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work as a virtual employee based out of your home
• Work during the standard office hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with the occasional need for work beyond these hours
• Support all attorneys, paralegals and legal assistants with administrative duties
• Monitor Outlook email for Douglas Turek
• Manage Outlook calendar for Douglas Turek
• Monitor and Manage Clio matters and tasks for Douglas Turek and other employees
• Monitor and Manage firm website
• Pick up physical mail from multiple locations
• Manage the sending of outbound correspondence (via mail, fax, email, etc.)
• Review and distribute documents and communications (from mail, fax, email, etc.)
• Perform receptionist duties in support of answering service, as needed
• Create and update electronic files in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Organize and maintain Outlook office and administrative calendars
• Monitor and manage supplies, including ordering supplies as needed
• Resolve office-related issues and respond to requests or issues
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
• Maintain trusting relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendors

BENEFITS:
• Starting salary range of $14 to $17 per hour, depending on experience and skills
• Paid holidays
• Initial 40 hours vacation pay and 40 hours of sick pay

Skills Required

REQUIREMENTS:
• Previous experience as an office assistant or administrative assistant
• Knowledge and competence in the use of Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to identify and resolve issues
• Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish operational goals

Compensation:

$14-17, based on experience
