Terminal and Pipeline Scheduler
The Terminal and Pipeline Scheduler for JET Infrastructure is responsible for monitoring and scheduling the daily product movements across JET Infrastructure’s terminal and pipeline assets. The qualified candidate should be organized and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Terminal and Pipeline Scheduler for JET, they will work closely with JET Operations, outside consultants, contractors, vendors, and outside operating company teams. This position will report to the Manager of Product Movement and work closely with JET’s Director, Engineering.
Responsibilities
· Nominate and schedule pipeline and terminal movements through JET scheduling systems and spreadsheets
· Balance terminal tank volumes and customer allocated inventory spaces
· Communicate with stockholders, shippers, operations and appropriate JET departments to continue product flow while mitigating terminal and pipeline downtime
· Respond to unexpected events and coordinate with the appropriate parties during any downtime
· Develop and maintain relationships with customer contacts to establish JET Infrastructure as the preferred provider of service
· Assist with investigating and balancing customer tickets
· Recommend procedures and methods to accomplish improved scheduling and operational tasks
· Ensure product, pipeline and terminal activities are delivered accurately according to contracts in place and customer expectations
· Support and promote JET's safety, health, and environmental policies.
· Attending conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Proven working experience in scheduling, minimum of 1+ years prior scheduling experience. CRM management a plus.
· Ability to manage customers and 3rd party consultants.
· Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
· Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
· Working knowledge of RightAngle and Transport4 software.
· Ability to work some evenings and weekends, as needed.
· Must work with minimum supervision and have good time management skills.
