Client Service Associate
Summary Description
The primary purpose of a Client Service Associate is to support their designated Advisor and enhance the client experience. Your exceptional verbal and written communication skills will be of paramount importance as you use them. Your knowledge of firm policy, procedures and technology allows you to interface with clients and prospective clients, anticipate their needs, resolve their concerns, and follow through with exceptional client service. You will perform client service duties that support the Advisory and Financial Planning teams in their daily business practices.
Essential Responsibilities
Troubleshoot problems, schedule and organize meetings, serve as a liaison between designated advisor and clients as needed
Attend meetings with the advisors and take notes
Input advisor and appropriate non-advisor dictation
Review task assignments and work flows for each client and work directly with team members to follow-up and complete in a timely manner
Maintain client information in CRM
Gain subject matter expertise with custodial platforms and financial reporting software
Manage upcoming client meeting report for designated advisors
Provide online client portal access to clients and provide ongoing support
Proactively communicate with clients
Proofread reports, check documentation and electronic data for errors
Collect and organize specialized reports for designated advisors
Promote and ensure effective utilization of technology tools to assist accurate, timely, and updated client information
Review service email inbox to address emails efficiently and effectively
Maintain team approach by assisting and filling in for others
Adhere to all compliance policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of client service experience
Bachelor’s degree
Series 65
Strong customer relationship management skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient industry understanding
Advanced level computer skills; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Outstanding professional/personal references
Comfortable with being a “team player” and doing whatever is needed, big or small
Proven customer service experience
Familiarity with financial software and services
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
