Apartment Fire at the Wildwood Forrest Apartments

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- At 7:20 this evening SMCFD was notified of an apartment fire at the Wildwood Forrest Apartments. Station 1 arrived within 5 minutes to find fire and smoke coming from the roof of a three story apartment. Station 1’s crew immediately entered the attic of the 3rd story apartment and began extinguishing fire around the chimney area.

Spring Tower 70 arrived and was able to access the external portion of fire from their ladder truck. The combined team work allowed command to declare the fire under control within 20 minutes of arrival.

SMCFD was assisted by The Woodlands and Spring Fire Department’s. There were no injuries reported at the scene.
