Structure fire collapses building, no injuries reported by The Woodlands Fire Department

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands Fire Department responded to a call for assistance from the South Montgomery County Fire Department and – along with units from the Spring Fire Department and the Montgomery County Hospital District – tackled a building fire at the 25000 block of Interstate 45-North near Raypine.

The fire was first reported Monday evening around 7:45 p.m. and was described as a structure fire with heavy fire showing from the second and third floors.

Despite the departments’ best efforts to save the building, it completely collapsed, and the fire was subsequently put out. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
