House Fire in Harper's Landing Brought Under Control by The Woodlands Fire Department This Morning

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- At 10:06 a.m. this morning The Woodlands Fire Department responded to Drifting Shadows Circle in Harpers Landing on a report by neighbors of smoke coming from the roof of a house. Battalion 61 and Truck 61 were first on scene and reported smoke coming from a one-story single family residence. A working fire was declared and Firefighters commenced an offensive attack. Firefighters located the fire in a back bedroom and Fire was brought under control in 15 minutes. Home suffered extensive damage and two residents will be displaced. The Woodlands Fire Department was assisted by Needham Fire & Rescue/ Montgomery County ESD#4 and Conroe Fire Department as well as Montgomery County Hospital District. Fire is under investigation by Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office.
