2024 Economic Outlook Conference is coming this Friday
THE WOODLANDS, TX – A few tickets are still available for the 38th Economic Outlook Conference, hosted by The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce with presenting sponsorship by Entergy, taking place at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Friday, February 16.
The EOC – as it is familiarly known – allows attendees the opportunity to connect with community leaders, business leaders, entrepreneurs, elected officials, keynote speakers, economic and community update experts, and high-level panel discussions.
This year, the lunchtime keynote speaker will be Capt. (ret) Eric “Popeye” Doyle, Commanding Officer & Flight Leader, US Navy Blue Angels and CEO of RAVN Aerospace, and the keynote speaker is Zack Kass, a Technology Futurist, Specialist in Generative AI Solutions and former Head of Go-To-Market at OpenAI/ChatGPT, whose topic will be discussing the past, present, and future of artificial intelligence.
Conference speakers will include Gil Staley Gil P. Staley of The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership giving a community update, and Patrick Jankowski, Greater Houston Partnership Chief Economist, presenting the regional economic outlook.
An economic development panel will be moderated by State Senator Brandon Creighton, and a 50th Anniversary of The Woodlands panel will include Former US Congressman Kevin Brady; Nelda Blair, Past Chairman of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and currently with The Blair Law Firm; and Robert Heineman, Vice President of Planning & Design, The Woodlands Development Company, while the panel will be moderated by Jim Carman, Immediate Past Chairman of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and President of The Houston Region at The Howard Hughes Corporation. There will additionally be a panel of local CEOs.
