THE WOODLANDS, TX -- In June of 2024 Constable Ryan Gable’s ICAC Division began an investigation related to Scott Jacob Baldwin (33), of Haltom City, Texas. During the course of the investigation, it was found that Baldwin communicated with an adult female who allegedly resides in The Woodlands. During the course of the communication with the adult female Baldwin and the female coordinated a plan to meet, in person, for the sole purpose of sexually assaulting the adult female’s alleged 13-year-old daughter. During the course of communication with the female Baldwin detailed his sexual interest in children and recounted previous sexual contacts he’s had with other victims in the Tarrant County area.

A search on Baldwin’s history showed previous allegations related to the sexual assault of a child in Tarrant County. Constable Gable’s ICAC Division quickly obtained facts and evidence necessary to obtain an arrest warrant for Baldwin of Online Solicit of a Minor Sexual Conduct. On June 26th, 2024, the Euless City Police Department took Baldwin into custody on the arrest warrant filed by Constable Gable’s Detective. Baldwin was extradited to the Montgomery County Jail where he is currently incarcerated and held on a $100,000 bond.

Constable Ryan Gable’s Criminal Investigations Division will continue to relentlessly pursue predators who choose to exploit and harm our children.
