Lake Conroe Temporary Closure: July 7, 2024 at 2:00pm

CONROE, TX -- The San Jacinto River Authority (SJRA) and Montgomery County Constable Precinct 1 announce that Lake Conroe will be temporarily closed at 2:00pm for the safety of boaters and first responders due to Hurricane Beryl. SJRA has activated 24-hour protocols and will remain activated throughout the weather event.

Lake Conroe

The current level of Lake Conroe is 200.23 feet mean sea level (msl) with no outflows. Water outflows occur when the lake level exceeds 201 feet above msl. Monitor real-time information on Lake Conroe at www.sjra.net.

We will continue to monitor the forecast. We are in coordination with the City of Houston, Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and the National Weather Service.

Lake Houston levels may be monitored by visiting the Coastal Water Authority's website at www.coastalwaterauthority.org.
