THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The following statement was provided today by Erich M. Peterson, PE, General Manager of The Woodlands Water Agency:

“We hope this message finds you safe following the recent Hurricane Beryl. Our thoughts are with all those affected, and we extend our deepest sympathies to anyone who experienced hardship during this challenging time.

“We are pleased to inform you that despite the storm's impact, our water supply remains safe and uninterrupted. Woodlands Water Agency and SJRA’s dedicated team of field technicians worked tirelessly to ensure that our infrastructure withstood the weather conditions, and we are happy to report that there are no issues affecting the quality or availability of your water.

“Woodlands Water remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of service, especially during unforeseen circumstances like severe weather events. Our priority is our community's well-being, and we are here to support you as we recover and rebuild together.

“Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. We are here to help and will continue to provide updates as necessary.”

About The Woodlands Water Agency

Woodlands Water is the central management agency for the 10 Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs) that currently serve The Woodlands in Montgomery County. The services we provide are water distribution, wastewater collec- tion, storm drainage and tax collection services. The principal objective of Woodlands Water is to provide the MUDs we serve with professional, reliable and quality services consistent with fiscal responsibility.
