Vehicle and Boat Sink at Northshore Boat Ramp, No Injuries Reported

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Just after 5 PM this evening, the Woodlands Fire Department was dispatched to assist the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office with a vehicle that had sunk near the Northshore boat ramp. According to initial reports, the driver had been attempting to launch a boat when something went wrong, resulting in the vehicle, the boat, and the trailer all ending up in the lake.

Milstead Towing quickly arrived on the scene and successfully removed the submerged vehicle, boat, and trailer from the water. Meanwhile, the TWFD HAZMAT team stood by to ensure there was no fuel spill. Fortunately, there were no injuries, and no appreciable fuel spill was detected, allowing for a smooth resolution of the incident.

The cause of the mishap remains under investigation, but thanks to the swift response of emergency personnel, everyone involved remained safe and the situation was quickly brought under control.
