MCTX Sheriff Arrests Burglar Overnight on 1488

CONROE, TX -- On September 27, 2024, at around 3:25 a.m., deputies from the District 4 Patrol Division were dispatched to multiple glass break alarms at various businesses on FM 1488. Deputies arrived on scene and observed broken entry doors with blood evidence still on the glass. Surveillance footage was observed and a suspect was identified by the business owner as a regular customer who worked at a gym nearby. Deputies located the suspect at the gym and conducted a field interview. The suspect admitted to the burglaries.

David Griego, 46, of Magnolia, Texas was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail where he is currently charged with two counts of Burglary.
