Fun and $500 cash prizes for local students with 3rd annual Climate Champions Youth Art Contest

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Calling all young Texas students and artists with a passion for the environment! The Climate Champions Youth Art Contest is back for its third year, encouraging students in grades 1-12 to express their thoughts and solutions for climate change through the power of art.

Submission period kicks off October 1

The contest is free to enter and open to all Texas students – public, private, and homeschooled. It's a fantastic opportunity for young artists to showcase their creativity, raise awareness about climate change, and compete for exciting prizes.

How to Participate

  • Visit the Climate Champions website (https://www.climatechampions.earth/) for contest rules, prizes, inspiring artwork from previous years, and a list of judges.
  • Click on 'Submit Art' on the homepage.
  • Fill out the submission form and upload your artwork.
  • Deadline: Submissions are open from October 1 to November 30, 2024.

Prizes and Recognition

Winners will be awarded cash prizes, with the top prize being a cool $500 for first-place winners in each grade category (see prize details on website). Additionally, winning artwork will be featured on the official website, bringing recognition to the young artists and their message.

Building Awareness Together

The Climate Champions Youth Art Contest is more than just a competition. It's a chance for schools, organizations, and libraries across Texas to join forces and engage young people on climate issues. Schools and organizations can request bookmarks, social media graphics, and general information by emailing info@ClimateChampions.earth.

A Growing Legacy

Launched in 2019, the Climate Champions Youth Art Contest continues to expand in Texas.
