THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands celebrated its 50th Anniversary with a weeklong set of activities including a free concert, hosted by Howard Hughes, on Friday, October 18 at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Lyle Lovett and his Large Band, Hayes Carll and Jack Ingram performed at The Pavilion for an unforgettable evening of music. Headlining the event was four-time Grammy award winner and country music legend Lyle Lovett and his Large Band. A resident of The Woodlands area, Lovett's performance was a homecoming celebration that resonated deeply with the local audience. Hayes Carll, a talented singer-songwriter and native of The Woodlands, brought his unique blend of folk and country to the enthusiastic crowd. Another homegrown talent, Jack Ingram, added to the night's energetic atmosphere, displaying his musical heritage of The Woodlands.

During Lovett’s performance, he invited Hayes Carll and Jack Ingram back to the stage to join him for some songs, contributing to a memorable night celebrating The Woodlands 50th Anniversary.
