Santa's Merry Mingle - A Holiday Experience at The Woodlands Children’s Museum

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Santa Claus is coming to town to visit with children on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 9:00am - 2:00pm, during the annual Santa’s Merry Mingle event at The Woodlands Children’s Museum. This festive holiday experience offers children the opportunity to share their Christmas wishes while capturing memorable photos with jolly old St. Nick.

Santa's Merry Mingle will include a meet and greet and framed professional photo with Santa. New this year, Mrs. Claus invites guests to participate in her Gingerbread House workshop, where they can construct sweet treats into holiday masterpieces. Mrs. Claus will also be hosting two special holiday story times at 9:30am and 1:30pm.

Santa's Merry Mingle will also feature snow play, meet and greets with Olaf from Frozen, face painting, a gift bag from Santa’s workshop, and live musical performances from the Lone Star Strummers. Children are invited to create holiday art projects in The Muse art bar and explore the light table to build unique colorful snowflakes.

Guests are invited to the stage for performances of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas marionette shows at 10:30am, 11:30am, and 12:30pm.

This year's Santa event offers a whimsical atmosphere for families to embrace the holiday spirit through music, art, and interactive play within our exhibits.

Tickets for children 0-13 are $25 and adults are $10. Limited tickets are on sale now at www.woodlandschildrensmuseum.org. The museum will be closed to the public and open for event-only admission on Saturday, December 14th from 9:00am – 2:00pm. The museum will re open for public hours from 2:00pm – 5:00pm.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum is open daily Tuesday through Thursday 9:30am - 2:00pm, Friday 9:30am - 4:00pm and Saturday 10:00am - 5:00pm. Guests are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets at www.woodlandschildrensmuseum.org.
