The Woodlands Fire Department Responds to Structure Fire on Mistyhaven Place in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- At approximately 9:00 PM this evening, The Woodlands Fire Department (TWFD) swiftly responded to a report of a structure fire with a possible explosion on Mistyhaven Place in the Village of Cochrans Crossing.

Upon arrival, Engine 102 was the first unit on the scene and observed fire venting from a detached garage. Firefighters initiated an aggressive offensive attack and successfully brought the fire under control. Thanks to the quick and efficient actions of the responding crews, the fire was contained to the garage, preventing extensive damage to the main residence. The house sustained only minor smoke damage, and no injuries were reported.

TWFD received support during the incident from the Montgomery County Hospital District and the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. The Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office is currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
