Market Street - The Woodlands announces departure of General Manager Jenny Taylor

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Today Market Street – The Woodlands announced the departure of General Manager Jenny Taylor. She will continue her luxury retail career in Florida after her final day at the property, February 28.

Jenny has been an integral part of Market Street for the past two decades, beginning when Market Street was in its infancy in 2005. She joined as Marketing Director that year and was later appointed to Assistant General Manager in 2011 and as General Manager in 2015.

She has overseen the transformation of Market Street from a quiet neighborhood center to a thriving, luxury shopping and dining destination with a first-class roster of retail and restaurants, community-driven programs and partnerships, and hugely successful annual events.

“We are so thankful for the 20 years of service Jenny Taylor has dedicated to Market Street,” said Marketing Director Noemi Gonzalez. “She leaves behind an incredible legacy here and while we will miss her leadership and dedication, we certainly wish her all the best.”

In her role as General Manager of Market Street in The Woodlands, Taylor has overseen all aspects of day-to-day operations and has become known for maintaining strong community, tenant, and public relations.

“My time at Market Street has been a joy and a highlight in my career,” said Taylor. “I will deeply miss the community of The Woodlands and the friends and colleagues I’ve had the privilege of developing relationships with over the past 20 years.”

During her time as a resident of The Woodlands, Taylor has contributed to many nonprofits and local organizations. She has served as a member of The Woodlands Economic Development Partnership and has served on Board of Directors positions for Visit The Woodlands, The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce, and Inspiration Ranch Board of Directors. She has also served as a member of The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival Advisory Council, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night Advisory Team, the South Montgomery County 4th of July Committee along with others over the years
