THE WOODLANDS, TX – Recently, the Tea Kettle Cafe opened in Old Town Spring, offering an old-time, traditional tea venue to the area. Already a success with the tea-sippers of the world, this quaint cottage filled with brews and baked goods has already expanded its business, both literally and figuratively.

Owners are proud to announce The Mad Hatter, a whimsical wine bar that effortlessly blends nostalgia with novelty, has just opened its doors. “Mad Food, Mad Wine, Mad Fun” is the motif of the bar, and they back up their words with atmosphere. The bar itself is set up nestled behind the Tea Kettle, with only a whimsical patio to mark its presence. Inside, the decor charms with its eclectic mix of vintage Alice in Wonderland motifs – quirky hats adorn the walls, while soft, ambient lighting casts a welcoming glow.

Besides a delightful range of local beer and international wine labels to satisfy even the most discerning palate, The Mad Hatter offers a delightful menu of artisanal cheeses, charcuterie boards, and small bites, each crafted to enhance the flavors of their wine offerings as well as a special Chef's dinner menu provided by The Tea Kettle.

On weekends, the space transforms with music and occasional themed events bring the enchanting world of literature and fantasy to life. Based on the success of the Tea Kettle’s Harry Potter-themed high teas over the autumn and winter, these events will no doubt bring fun and frivolity to patrons of the Hatter, whether they’re unwinding after a long day or embarking on a night of exploration.

To reach The Mad Hatter, find the tea Kettle Cafe at 123 Midway in Old Town Spring, then let Darth Vader be your guide and follow him to this hidden retreat.
