THE WOODLANDS, TX – As you wake up Saturday morning, the aftereffects of Friday night’s Valentine festivities may linger for a bit. But now it’s time to get back to family business and plan some activities for the entire family, not just the grownups. Don’t forget it’s a three-day weekend for the kiddos, so we’ll include some Monday fun as well/ While the weather may not completely be in your corner at the start, we have some suggestions for indoors and out.

Your three-day weekend weather and family-friendly events

Saturday

As the pressure front plummets Saturday morning, the clouds will stretch from horizon to horizon, and you can expect about two-tenths of an inch of rain – nothing that will cause flooding or house damage, but just enough to put a damper on open air fun, even though the high will be about 75.

First, you can hop aboard the Fun Bus at City Place for an exciting mobile gym experience perfect for kids aged 18 months to 7 years. Led by two energetic instructors, little ones can enjoy games, obstacle courses, and themed activities such as Shark Week or circus fun. They’ll have a blast swinging, bouncing, and climbing inside a colorful, safe, 35-foot refurbished school bus. Don't miss this free activity at the Upper Plaza at City Place.
