MCTXSheriff Arrests Documented Gang Member for Harassment

PINEHURST, TX -- On February 15, 2025, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office District 4 Patrol Division arrested 35-year-old Edwin Villata Ayala from Pinehurst, TX. Ayala is a documented gang member and was wanted for a warrant for Harassment out of Montgomery County after following a female victim multiple times over the past few months. With the assistance of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Gang Investigation Unit, deputies successfully apprehended Ayala. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where he is currently being held on a $5,000 bond and an ICE detainer.
