The Goose’s Acre Responds to Tragic Incident, Reaffirms Commitment to Safety

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Official Statement from The Goose’s Acre Irish Pub

As you are no doubt aware, the Goose’s Acre family and community were shaken by tragedy early Sunday morning when a young man opened fire on several patrons. Thanks to the heroic and quick-thinking actions of bystanders and security personnel, the gunman was subdued until law enforcement arrived. Our heartfelt prayers go out to those injured as a result of this senseless violence, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts during this difficult time.

In over eighteen years of business, we have never experienced an incident of this nature. While we refuse to let this tragedy define us, we are reaffirming our unwavering commitment to the safety and security of our patrons and staff. The well-being of our community remains our highest priority, and we are dedicated to ensuring that The Goose’s Acre continues to be a safe and welcoming fixture along The Woodlands Waterway.

We are actively cooperating with law enforcement as they investigate the circumstances surrounding this attack. At this time, we are unable to comment further on the investigation and ask that any inquiries be directed to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
