The Woodlands Marathon Returns This Saturday, March 1, 2025 – Plan for Traffic Impacts

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The highly anticipated Woodlands Marathon is set to take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025. As a world-class event, the marathon attracts elite runners and thousands of participants from across the country, making it one of the premier races in Texas.

Residents and visitors should be aware that traffic will be impacted from 6:30 AM to 1:30 PM along the race route.

Important Traffic Advisory

• Lake Woodlands Drive (westbound) will have CONTRA-FLOW – Vehicles will be traveling both east and west from Lake Front Circle to Cochran’s Crossing.
• Motorists should plan for delays and detours and are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible.
• Law enforcement and race officials will be on-site to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow.
