Woman Arrested for Child Endangerment and Narcotics Possession at Days Inn in Shenandoah

SHENANDOAH, TX -- The Shenandoah Police Department has arrested a woman on charges of child endangerment and narcotics possession after her three young children were found wandering unaccompanied at a local hotel.
Officers responded to the Days Inn in Shenandoah after reports of two 8-year-old twins and a 3-year-old walking through the premises without supervision. Upon investigation, authorities discovered the children’s mother unconscious in a hotel room, where narcotics were also present.
Child Protective Services (CPS) safely took custody of the children. The woman was taken into custody and now faces multiple charges, including child endangerment and possession of narcotics.
