Help teach the future workforce at Lone Star College

HOUSTON, TX -- Lone Star College knows instructors with industry-related experience can provide students with valuable knowledge and skills to help them succeed in their chosen field. The college will recruit more professionals to train the next generation at its annual Adjunct Faculty Career Fair March 27 at the LSC-System Office, The Woodlands Community Building located at 5000 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands. The event will run from 3:30-7 p.m., with the latest entry time for candidates is 6:30 p.m.
“Lone Star College values adjunct faculty’s wealth of experience, which provides students with classroom and hands-on training, giving them a competitive boost when transferring to a four-year university or entering their chosen career,” said Patricia Woods, LSC senior associate vice chancellor, Human Resources.
The LSC Adjunct Faculty Career Fair will feature department chairs from various disciplines across the college system to conduct on-the-spot interviews and assist job seekers with applications. Interested applicants should bring copies of their resume, unofficial transcripts, certifications and licenses. Additionally, the fair will focus on credit and academic teaching opportunities, including biology, English and math.
