Children’s Memorial Hermann IRONKIDS Texas Fun Run & Doggie Dash Set for Saturday, April 19

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The 2025 Children’s Memorial Hermann IRONKIDS Texas Fun Run & Doggie Dash event is set to take place at Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Drive in The Woodlands, Saturday, April 19. The event is open to children and teens ages 1 to 17.

The event begins at 8:30 a.m. with the opening of village family-friendly booths/activities. Opening ceremonies and the warm-up start at 9:30 a.m., the children’s races start at 10 a.m. and dog events get underway around 11 a.m.

The IRONKIDS Fun Run offers young athletes the opportunity to feel the excitement of competition while enjoying the outdoors and promoting healthy living.

The races include:

• Diaper Dash 26.2 ft. | Independent crawlers, under 2 years
• Toddler Dot Trot 80 ft. | Independent walkers, ages 1-3 years
• Half mile (ages 3-8 years)
• Mile (ages 5-17 years)
• The Doggie Dash - Half mile or mile (Dogs should be 6 months and older, leashed with their handler. Dogs must be vaccinated. Each dog receives a bandana and a finisher dog tag medal.)

In addition to the race events, the park will also have fun activities for families of all ages, including mingling with mascots, snow cones, photo opportunities, pet vendors, an obstacle course, various games, face painting, crafts, and pediatric ambulance tours.
