    Lone Star College-University Park opens the UP Care Center, an expanded resource center dedicated to supporting total student well-being. The new center will provide fresh food, baby supplies, a lactation room, clothing, emergency assistance, informational resources, school supplies and more.
    Surrounded by representatives from the American Heart Association and the Houston Food Bank, Lone Star College-University Park Interim President Matthew Dempsey, M.S., Ed.D., (center) cuts the ribbon officially opening the college’s new UP Care Center, an expanded resource center dedicated to supporting total student well-being.
