National Playoff Results - West 09B Gold

The club is very excited to announce the outstanding results gained by the West 09B Gold that advanced to the 2024 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup. The event took place in Wichita, Kansas from July 12-16. The finals featured boys and girls teams from the U13 through U19 age groups who competed for a national championship. The boys lost to the eventual champions by getting eliminated in the semi-finals on penalty kicks.  

"It was a tremendous achievement and what an enjoyable and rewarding journey for everybody involved," said Djewad Bereksi, West 09B Head Coach. "The commitment, hunger and desire to compete was superb throughout the competition and it was a great way to close out the season playing against teams on a national stage."

“Congratulations to all the players, parents and coaching staff that were involved within the team throughout last year," said Nigel Vaughan, Director Coaching - Senior Boys. "The boys did incredibly well in their advancement and represented the club at the state, regional and national level in outstanding fashion.  We look forward to using these positive experiences to progress into the fall season."
