oung athletes and their families are invited to participate in the highly anticipated Children’s Memorial Hermann Texas 2025 IRONKIDS Fun Run on Saturday, April 19, at Town Green Park (2099 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands). This exciting event provides children with the opportunity to experience the thrill of competition while enjoying the outdoors and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Running clubs are welcome to join the fun!

Event Schedule & Activities:

  • 8:30 a.m. – Village booths and activities open

  • 9:30 a.m. – Opening ceremonies & warm-up

  • 11:15 a.m. – Dog events begin

Families can enjoy a variety of entertainment, including meet-and-greets with mascots, snow cones, photo opportunities, pet vendors, a TIRR pediatric obstacle course, games, crafts, and ambulance tours.

Race Categories:

  • Diaper Dash (26.2 ft.) – Independent crawlers, under 2 years

  • Toddler Dot Trot (80 ft.) – Independent walkers, ages 1-3 years

  • Half Mile – Ages 3-8 years

  • Mile – Ages 5-17 years

Doggie Dash (Following children’s races):

  • Half mile or mile – Dogs must be at least 6 months old, leashed, and vaccinated. Each registered dog will receive a bandana and a finisher dog tag medal.

Participant Perks:
Every registered child will receive a Goodie Bag, including a race bib, event shirt, and finisher medal, along with the pride of calling themselves an IRONKID!
