Class Act Productions Presents Oliver!

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Spend an evening with Dickens! Class Act Productions cordially invites you to share in the fun with the classic tale of Oliver Twist with the Tony award winning musical , "Oliver!" opening at 7:30 p.m. on February 29, in the Nancy Bock Center for the Performing Arts.

"Oliver" is based on Charles Dickens' moving tale of Oliver Twist, an orphan boy who escapes the orphanage only to end up in the company of pick-pockets. When Oliver finally has a chance to live a good life, love and hate battle as Sykes and his girlfriend, Nancy, have different ideas for the young boy. Dickens' characters are always larger-than-life, and the musical captures his unforgettable creations that will captivate audience members young and old.

First performed in 1960, “Oliver!” has remained hugely popular ever since. Legendary composer Lionel Bart’s hit songs are some of the best known in musical theatre history, including “You’ve Got to Pick a Pocket or Two,” “As Long as He Needs Me,” and “Food Glorious Food.”

Opening its 11th season with the winter production of “Oliver!” at the Nancy Bock Center for the Performing arts (located at 3800 S. Panther Creek Drive in The Woodlands), Class Act Productions invites you, your family, and your friends to come out and enjoy this classic musical. The show opens on February 29th, and continues its run on March 1st, 7th & 8th at 7:30 PM, and March 2nd & 9th at 2:30 PM.
